Frequently Asked Questions
Pet cremation is the process of reducing a deceased pet's body to ashes using high heat in a special furnace called a cremator. It's a common way for pet owners to respectfully say goodbye to their pets. After cremation, the ashes (also called cremains) can be kept in an urn, scattered in a special place, or used in memorial items like jewelry or keepsakes.

We offer private, communal and witness cremation options.
Private Cremation: only your pet is placed in the cremation chamber, so the cremains you receive are only your pet's.
Communal cremation: multiple pets are cremated together, so the cremains are mixed and usually not returned to owners.
Witness cremation: you are allowed to be present and watch the start of your pet's cremation, often for emotional closure or religious reasons.
Pet cremations normally take between 1-2 hours for completion. Exact timing varies on the weight of the pet.
